As with the rest of the world, Hawaii is dealing with another COVID-19 surge driven by the Delta variant. Masks are required in all indoor public settings so please be sure to bring a few for your trip. Our wedding is predominantly outside, and as of now masks are not required outdoors. Please note that as of September 15 you will need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test to get into indoor businesses, so please remember to bring your vaccination card! For those flying from the mainland, please upload your vaccination record to the Hawaii Safe Travels program so that you can bypass quarantine and/or testing before and upon arrival. We understand this is an extra step that you typically don't have to take for domestic travel, but it's important that we all do our part to help keep Hawaii safe and open for business. Keep an eye on https://hawaiicovid19.com/ for real-time updates, and we'll update this page with any major developments as we get closer to our big day.
Yes! We are big believers in science and data, and the maid of honor (obviously a VIP!) is pregnant. Therefore we want to be extra cautious and require that all guests are fully vaccinated so we can all enjoy the weekend with less fear of COVID.
Any kind of cocktail attire is great, although it will be hot so men can feel free to ditch the tie and opt for a short sleeve button-down if they like. Also worth noting the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the beachfront lawn, so ladies should definitely avoid any kind of heel that will sink into grass.
Yes, Ubers and Lyfts are still available but wait times can be a bit unpredictable. If you have to be somewhere at a particular time we recommend leaving 30 minutes to get a ride to ensure you're not rushed or delayed.
