Our story starts off like most couples do nowadays, on the internet. Bumble, was the site of choice for me. Bumble is a dating app that requires the woman to make the first move. As I’m swiping left (meaning I said no) to all of the guys with photos of them standing next to fast cars or a bunch of women. I came across this photo of a guy that was a couple miles away from me. He was in the back of a pick up, wearing a bright orange hat and holding a pheasant. Fortunately, that wasn’t want caught my eye. It was the yellow lab next to him. If you know me, you’ll know that I love animals, especially dogs! It is a goal of mine to pet each dog I come across. So I decided to swipe right. Later on, I found out he swiped right too! Eek! So, knowing I needed to meet this dog, I had to get the human to talk to me. Since Bumble needed me to start the conversation, I had to think of a cleaver way to start the conversation. If you have been on Bumble, you know they will give you prompts to start the conversation. They gave me the “Favorite Disney Movie” prompt, so I added to it and asked this lovely man what his favorite Disney Movie Soundtrack was. He later replied with “Tarzan’s Soundtrack”. As I was looking at those words, I just smiled. Two ways to get into my heart are Phil Collins and of course, animals.
