I am a lover of love and adventure. I am a pretty down person (I free dive with sharks so if that doesn't say something...) I moved to Hawaii in 4 hours notice and quit my corporate job to chase my dreams and here I am! I'm a bit of a minimalist like to think I'm pretty fun. I'm an ocean conservationist and use my skills to also educate people about human impacts and ways to make shifts in our own lives in order to help the planet. I am really big on quality over quantity. I would rather deliver a handful of WOW photos over a ton of average photos to fill a number.

My approach is more documentary and candid over production or posed. I treat every client and couple unique and different because they are and what ones needs might be will be different from the next. I offer drone where permitted and I also do underwater photography- I try my best to provide a lot of value and information to my clients. I pull inspiration from movies and real human emotions because I am all about sharing a story behind my work and those emotions can be happy, intimacy, joy and still, pure presence. I become friends with each of client and that helps to create more comfortability so we have more room to create together.

6 hours of elopement coverage - This collection is ideal for couples who want to spend all day on an adventure or also have an intimate reception/dinner. This includes a second photographer and all travel fees (in Hawaii). 50-100 photos per hour (a minimim of 300 images in an online gallery). Full day elopement coverage - This is ideal for couples who want to spend all day on an adventure that is usually required for national parks (average 8 hours). 2 photogs 50-100 photos per hour (minimum 400 photos) Gift: A mini print of one of my marine life prints + a 15-30 second video reel Includes all photographer’s travel cost to any National Park in the lower 48 of the USA +$1000 for NPs in Alaska and Hawaii

    My husband and I were traveling to Maui for our 4 year anniversary and we were looking for adventure photos to document our trip. I searched and searched and finally found Taylor and immediately knew I HAD to book with her. The entire experience was fantastic. She was extremely professional but also super personable, my husband and I immediately felt comfortable with her. We trusted her every second of the experience- from asking what outfit would look best, to whatever location she thought would be best, and then went in to the session with no expectations other than to let her do what she does best. And I just have to say, Taylor does more than just capture images she captures absolute art. The images from this trip are images we are going to cherish for the rest of our lives! I'm already trying to plan another trip to Hawaii just so we can work with Taylor again.

    If you want one-after-another STUNNING images that take you immediately back to the emotions felt on the happiest day of your life… every single time you look through your wedding album…. Hire Taylor Walston. Her energy is peaceful, she made our sloppily-planned adventure so much fun, and she’s truuuuuly down for anything during your session. My husband and I decided to elope on a whim in HI…. But before we made any plans, I made a deal with him. We’d do it, only if Taylor was available for our date. After our original wedding plan fell thru during C*VID, we wanted to do the dang thing in a beautiful place with absolutely no stress and no real “plans” aside from saying our vows somewhere stunning with our parents to withness. I had a dress… but no photographer. I followed Taylor’s work months before we ever decided to elope and knew it HADDD to be her. The movement and genuine emotion/energy in her photos was exactly what we wanted. When Jake and I decided to do this (bc Taylor said yes), we really had such low expectations for how everything was going to play out - esp as last minute and “thrown together” it all was. But when we met her in person, it was just 5000 times better than we could’ve ever dreamed/hoped for. She thrives on spontaneity which was perfectttt for us. She was such a breath of fresh air to work with and really connects with you both as a couple. She was the cherry on top of this day for us. Our whole group was talking about how easy she was to work with and how seamless the day was because of her. I’m beyond thankful Taylor was behind the lens on a day we’ll never forget. 12/10 experience. 6 stars. Absolutely recommend to any and everyone! Thank you for everything Taylor!!

    Taylor was such a phenomenal part of our special micro-wedding! She really listened to our requests and made sure we took everyone photo we were hoping for! On another note, with our wedding being a destination I was unable to meet with Taylor before our wedding and I never once felt uncomfortable during the process. She made sure we discussed all the details and ensured me she would be able to deliver what we were dreaming of. I would highly recommend using her services even if you are dreaming of a destination wedding! We highly recommend using Taylor as your wedding photographer (you wont regret it)!
