I am a photographer born in Japan, raised in Hawaii, based in Orange County, CA. I love to take event photography, especially weddings, because there is already so much joy and emotion happening and I want to capture that moment and feeling so you can always go back to it just by seeing the photography.

What sets me different from other photographers is that I don't have a particular type of edit style. I like to change it up by reflecting what I actually experienced and felt during the event, so the picture brings out the moment. What emotion was there, the color of the atmosphere, the temperature the nature gives, etc. Also since I'm raised in Hawaii, I know how to enjoy multi-cultural events and that is one of my strengths :)

    Miku was amazing to work with and we absolutely loved our wedding photos! My wife is a professional photographer so her standards are high. She found Miku on Zola and Miku's quality of work convinced us to reach out. Every step from beginning to end was highly professional. We had a consultation and talked about what kind of photos we would do for our wedding ceremony and we couldn't be happier with the final result.     I have worked with Miku a few times and I have to say, the qualities of her photographs is amazing of course, and her pictures give a dynamic but warm feeling which the clients were also satisfied. Her personality is very friendly and I think she has the skills to make the clients comfortable. Also, her posture toward work is great, she replies to messages fast so she is easy to work with.     I’ve worked with Miku for two photo shoots, for my graduation and engagement. Both final products were spectacular and they’re worth more than I paid for. Overall, she is a talented photographer! She is so good at capturing the moment, so her work takes me back to and reminds me the moment vividly. Also, she is competent in catching what her clients want and also excel in understanding photography trends. During the photo shoots, she’s made good & precise instructions for posing and those kept me relax and be natural in front of camera for the whole time. I’d recommend her 120% for not only engage/wedding photo but also for any occasion you want your precious moment to be captured!
