My experience with this venue was absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I were not high maintenance or detail oriented for our wedding. We wanted the a simple nice wedding that we did not have to put a lot of work in and this place was perfect! High quality venue and vendors!! The venue itself was so beautiful, you barely have to decorate it. The vendors are all with the venue, and our amazing planner Sheilah W was awesome! She gets everything prepared and deals with contacting all the vendors and putting everyone on the same page. I was so shocked the packages even included stationeries (save the dates & invites) ! Vendors included flowers, photographer, catering, DJ, day of coordinator, cake/desserts, all inclusive bar. I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here! When I tell people I barely did anything to plan this wedding.. I mean it. In a good way because it was such a stress free planing process for us! It was such a great day. Simple and beautiful

I found The Heights Villa through a friend who was looking for a quince venue. I had no idea they had taken the old neighborhood church and turned into something spectacular. When I visited the venue I fell in love, then I met the owners. Brendan and Cathy are nothing short of LITERAL angels on earth. They make you feel like you’re home, like you’re exactly where you should be. I toured several other Houston venues, some that were even double the price of THV and something wasn’t right. Every tour at the other venues made me feel cold and foreign, it just wasn’t right. Then I toured THV with Cathy and Brendan and I KNEW this was where I was meant to solidify my union with my husband. They made sure every decision I made was well informed and in alignment with my vision of my perfect day. There was never any surprise fees, lack of communication or shortness of EXTRAVAGANT luxury options for me to choose from. If I could go back in time and tour venues again, I would skip every other option and not waste my time. THV was a win from the second I stepped inside that gate and met Brendan’s smiling face. If you’re struggling to find a venue that treats you like a human being, puts your vision into play correctly every time, and elevates your special day from good to ANGELIC then THV is your venue. We got lucky to grab this venue from another bride. It was amazing. The only issue we had was that when we arrived, the reception area was not set up like the picture that i sent that they asked for the week of. It was simple, with how many chairs and tables needed. The morning girl was AWFUL. BUT another lady came in and she was amazing. The owner was amazing and any communication needs and questions i had, they answers gladly. I highly recommend this place.

This venue is beautiful! If you want the reception hall super decorated you will have to splurge and get an outside vendor. We went simple so the centerpieces they had were perfect. The venue is a ranch and just gorgeous for pictures. Night pictures were amazing due to the outside lighting and my awesome photographer. We had a beautiful day of weather so it was perfect day pictures and lighting. My coordinator wasn’t the best and barely knew any details from my meetings I had beforehand the wedding. I think that had she been more organized and attentive there would’ve been less confusion and chaos. Overall we enjoyed ourselves just was let down with the coordinator.

They are able to answer questions that will help you make the best decisions for your event. Everyone works well with the other vendors and that makes for a very smooth event experience. The venue itself is full of authentic history that you can actually see for yourself with the arches and the exposed steel beams. That type of aesthetic is not easy to replicate and gives ODS a distinct look and feel all of its own. The chapel is very versatile. There is not a right or wrong way to set up the space for a wedding ceremony. Added bonus: it also has a groom’s suite! Even the bridal suite is rich in history and as an original building, has been dedicated to brides and their wedding party as the ultimate place to get ready. The venue grounds are well kept and manicured. This leads to numerous outdoor locations for natural light photos. Not to mention, an outdoor ceremony location. This venue has it all! You will be very happy with your choice!
