The Colonial Hotel was a perfect venue for our wedding Reception. From the moment we reached out, the team there was quick to respond and provided us with detailed information to help us plan our special event. Mary and all the staff we dealt with were very helpful in making our day truly special. The beautiful ballroom with the wood floors made for a night of fun dancing; the ballroom windows, outside stonework of the building and the gazebo made for some stunning photos. We received great comments from our guests on the appetizers and meal. It was a beautiful setting for our wedding celebration and we were very glad to find it.

The only downside of having your wedding at Grand View will be the number of times you will be asked. "how did you find this place"?! Gorgeous lake backdrop, eye catching ballroom & a caring staff that takes it upon themselves to make sure their client's day shine. We had our wedding on June 7th 2025 at Lord Thompson Manor. I cannot express enough how you should have your wedding here. Andrew, Jackie, Janice and Ted are top tier. Janice made us feel so special and throughout the day advocated for me. When the rain stopped and i wanted pictures outside, Ted went and got a leaf blower to blow away the rain so that my dress didn’t get wet. I do not say this lightly that they will forever be like family to me. They made the best day of our lives extra special. Our guests are still saying to us they can’t stop thinking about our wedding, that it was magical and the best wedding they’ve ever have ever gone to and I owe that all to Lord Thompson Manor. I will be eternally grateful for the way they made us and our wedding feel extra special. You are making a mistake if you do not book with Lord Thompson Manor.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We wanted a venue with history, beautiful views, affordable, and only had one wedding a day -- and we got it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the bartenders were so thoughtful. One brought in mint from her garden, as mojitos were my favorite drink! While there were a few moments of uncertainty and lack of communication in the planning process, it didn't take away from the magic of the day. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and gorgeous views. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! Inside, the reception area was equally impressive, with plenty of room for dancing and celebrating. The food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a variety of options that everyone loved. Just a Girl Events had the pleasure of working here for a small wedding. The venue is amazing! With 3 onsite areas that would be considered suites it is perfect to host your wedding party from the evening before to the day after. The studio space itself is beautiful with gabled ceilings and a beautiful floor with a brick inlay that is of the original design. The outdoor spacing can host a small area for cocktails with great ambiance or just a courtyard to hang out. It’s taken almost 2 months to even come up with the appropriate words to show the amount of gratitude we have to the hotel providence. From the moment we met, we knew it was a match. The chemistry was kismet, like where has kate been all my life?!? I hate that i don’t live in providence because I would have EVERY single event there always. We were one of her many COVID couples and literally had our food tasting the week before lockdown in NYC. Her flexibility and understanding of postponements, and keeping us informed on mandates and our options for everything was truly amazing. Now let’s get to the big weekend, from the SECOND we pulled up we were VIP’s all the way. Every member of the staff knew who we were and that it was our wedding weekend and i have never felt more special in my whole life. When i tell you that i didn’t stress out one bit because i just knew “Kate has this, Kate has this” and man she did! Every single detail was perfect. Everything was perfect. Every single person working the wedding was perfect. Food was EXCELLENT, like ten times better than the tasting. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect, the Rodger Williams suite was a great touch, loved being able to check on our dog from the wedding downstairs courtyard. I’ll be forever grateful to every single person that helped make this long loooong journey to the alter possible and for pulling off the greatest party that my friends and family are all still talking about. So if you want to feel like the most important person in the world, book with them.

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. We couldn’t have made a better choice than EnVision as our venue for our 3 day and 550 guest Gujarati Indian traditional wedding. This particular venue was a perfect place to use not only as a venue but also as accommodation for many of our guests. The open concept building allowed them to freely mingle and attend events in a ballroom conveniently central to all the food, drinks and rooms. Christine, the Director of Catering Sales, was exceptional in contributing on her end in the wedding planning process. We appreciated the opportunity to meet in person with her several times throughout this period to touch base about all the details on the hotel’s end. She was very flexible, cooperative and understanding of our culture’s traditions and what they entailed. She truly did her best in ensuring we could do everything we wanted while also maintaining safety of all the guests, vendors and employees. Samantha from sales was also wonderful to work with. She was very quick to respond and very helpful in coordinating our room block and room assignments. Overall, highly recommend EnVision for all weddings, traditional or not!

She gave us lots of great ideas on how to incorporate our theme (lemon and lavender) into the decor while still maintaining the charm of Paige Hall and the outdoor arbor. Mindy, Jayme and their team were phenomenal to work with, from our first visit to the venue through the end of our big day. The packages make stressful wedding prep more bearable and their preferred vendors are all top notch. The food is incredible (not an easy thing to find at weddings); the hors d’oeuvres and meal options allow something for everyone. If in doubt, we still hear from people about how great the short rib was! The convenience factor cannot be overstated. Having our wedding at a beautiful, affordable venue helped us out massively with logistics and gave our guests a smooth, easy weekend experience. The front desk team was accommodating to needs and made our guests feel so welcomed, from our welcome dinner to our big day. If you’re doing your research, we’re sure you’ve read about Mindy & Jayme. Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. My only suggestion would be for them to potentially expand their parking area in the future, but overall, Hope Lodge Venue is an excellent option for couples seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue and one they could decorate and make their own.

We had our wedding on 6/22/2024 at Angel & Anchor Farm with 125 guests. It was absolutely the best day ever thanks to the venue owners, Bill and Nicole. The venue is absolutely stunning. There are so many spots on the farm for your ceremony, for photos, etc. The farm was in full bloom in June as well. The bridal and groomsmen suite were also stunning, and offered a beautiful and cozy space for everyone to get ready in the morning. Bill and Nicole are also incredible. They truly did everything possible to make our wedding day so special. We didn't have to worry about a single thing, they were on it. From making adjusting for weather, setting up our beautiful reception tent, to attending the fire and more, they made our day absolutely flawless. If anything went wrong, my husband and I didn't know about it because Bill and Nicole just took care of it. We absolutely loved our wedding day and our guests kept saying the same. The farm is sprawling and offers so much space for guests to walk around and mingle. Everyone truly had an amazing time. Couldn't recommend the venue enough.

Between they’re prompt response for any questions we might have had, the upfront pricing, the guidebook, we were left feeling like we could tackle this wedding with no issues! But the real reason for that is the people! Bri is amazing, there isn’t anyone else I could imagine to trust to run the show like she did! Curt always had an answer for any question we came up with, Krissy was amazing, she paid special attention to my elderly grandparents, and they have been raving about her since the wedding! Mark was who we planned the music with, and the meetings we had with him were clear and concise and amazing to nail that all down, but when it came to the night of, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ, Patrick was fantastic! The best! He knew how to get the crowd out on the floor and keep them there! It was a prefect night, the husband and I can’t thank Wright’s Mill enough for all their attention to detail, passion for the industry, being so kind and being an integral part of a wedding that went so smoothly, and will be remembered for a lifetime!

Salem Cross Inn checked all our boxes for the perfect venue. It was affordable and included an outdoor ceremony location as well as an indoor ceremony location in case of rain. Luckily, the weather was gorgeous for our early Autumn wedding to allow us to be married outside. Our guest list was small, less than 50 people, which allowed us to rent The Brookfield Room on the second floor. This was perfect for us and provided us with a dance room and recpetion room. The bridal suite gave us sanctuary to have our makeup and hair done while our amazing photographer wandered around capturing our day. The backdrop of a beautiful farm landscape made for the perfect fantasy enchanted forest wedding theme. But the staff were the real stars in our day as they made everything incredibly easy. Donna and Nancy checked in on us to make sure we were all set. They helped with some quick changes and genuinely enjoyed our party. Hailee was a superstar! She took care of anything we needed, made sure that our stuff was safe and was wonderful with the kids at our party. I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. I am grateful for their professionalism, joy and the food was absolutely mouthwatering!!

From the moment we entered the grounds to many vendor visits, all the way to the wedding day, we felt like we were at home at Pierce House. We were able to curate the space to our specific visions, and Jen was sooo helpful throughout the whole process. She also has the cutest bulldogs on the planet, and we were actually sad the next day picking up the remaining decorations because we wanted to keep working with her. You really don't have to do much to the space to make it beautiful, and with a Director as involved and as helpful as Jen, you'll have the most fairy tale wedding day. Just a pro tip for communication: Jen is the most responsive via phone, so text or call her to inquire about meetings, and she will be at your side whether you're planning for 6 months or 2 years.
