My name is Johnny Perez and I'm the owner of "A Cinematic Wedding". I'm a professional photographer, independent filmmaker, and editor from New Haven, CT. With a focus on film production since 2013, I've gained extensive experience photographing and filming videos for weddings and events of all types but there has always been something special about filming a wedding.

We are the Lumens, a multi-award winning New England + New York based LGBTQ+ photo and video house. We specialize in queer, and non-traditional weddings + elopements. Your love is unique, and should be treated as such, so you won't find any "formulas" here. Each product is tailored to fit you, your event, and your personality. We strive to create a kind, welcoming, and affirming place to celebrate love for all people. We have spent the last 5 years celebrating amazing humans from all different backgrounds. We work with the average human, not models, and through prompting, and just sort of watching you (god that feels creepy to say), we'll craft gorgeous images that feel like you.
