“Laura and I met through a styled wedding collaboration (she was the hair/makeup artist and I was the baker) a few months before my September wedding. I remember thinking "wow, if I didn't already have makeup services booked, I would definitely book Laura." So when my original makeup artist cancelled on me due to COVID-19, I immediately messaged Laura of Dumont Styles. I am so grateful she was available and willing to travel about 1.5 hours away. I honestly feel she was meant to do my makeup for my special day, along with a few of my closest family member's makeup. I am fair skinned with freckles/red hair and requested a natural, but glam look--Laura NAILED IT! Laura is very professional (followed all COVID guidelines to keep us all safe) and also extremely prepared! Even though she was only booked for makeup services, Laura brought some hair stuff as well. This was super appreciated, especially when my mom's updo and my curls fell out!! Laura's skills and curling iron to the rescue! We still joke around that Laura single handedly saved the day! “Picture this, it’s the morning of your wedding. You’re hungover, groggy want to sleep in but you gotta get up for your hair and make up to be on time for your big day. But the great thing is you don’t have to leave the house, you can just sit down at the table sip on that sweet sweet coffee while Holly works on your hair. Holly brings such a vibe to where ever you are about to get ready for a big day. Dunks in hand she is ready to roll no matter what. She was able to not only dye my hair the morning of, but get all my 3 bridesmaids hair/make up done, my moms, and mine done supa’ quick. We started at 8 and were done by 1. Extremely flexible gal, will also refill your drink too when you’re too sleepy to stand up. She’s a girls girl. Ya know?? Even after she was finished, I saw her again later that night by chance and she tried fixing up my hair again! What? Dedicated??? Seriously!!! Just goes to show you how much she puts in to making you look flawless and beautiful on such an important day. I only have a few photos of my wedding so far, I don’t do my hair or make up at all.
