Megan, the director, is an absolutely dream to work with. quick responses, explains everything clearly, a sweetheart. Hotel is super clean, the food is amazing and the staff were lovely. The Maitre De went missing a lot throughout the day, to the point where my uncle had to find her whenever i needed. They set up & cleaned everything up for us which was lovely. the hotel bar stayed open late (sunday wedding) but you couldn’t make it private. so you had people at the bar trying to add to an open tab. you get a room block, the director of rooms Rebecca is very easy to work with as well. the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous!!! The gardens boast over 1,000 azaleas, nearly 500 rhododendrons, and more than 250,000 spring bulbs that create a stunning seasonal display. Picturesque walking trails, gazebos, fish ponds, and vibrant floral arrangements offer a peaceful escape year-round. With its breathtaking natural setting, Sayen House is the perfect venue for weddings, celebrations, showers, business meetings, and more.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Does not provide event staff
  • No on-site bridal suite
You get a better price if you're a township resident, but even the pricing for out-of-township couples was still so reasonable! The location was very close to the train station and there was plenty of parking available for our guests. You'll be limited to their approved caterers and we went with D&D and the food was fantastic. They even had a special spread for our vegan family members which we greatly appreciated! The Temple Garden was beautiful and we really lucked out with our photographer knowing the location well enough to recommend where to shoot our pictures. But I definitely recommend going at least once to scope out where you want your couple pictures taken.

The Shore Club was a cost-effective choice for our wedding venue. The communication with their event coordinator was direct, easy and quick, making planning straightforward. While the venue itself is dated with a basic design, we felt it was a good value for the price. The simple layout allowed us to decorate the space and make it our own for the big day. Guests commented that they enjoyed the food. We had about 170 people in their large ballroom and it was packed. I wouldn’t recommended for parties closer to 200, unless able to max out all tables at 10-12 guests. For couples looking for an affordable venue option without too many frills, The Shore Club offers convenience and practicality.

The Bogan family has been a staple of New Jersey’s oceanfront since founding Bogan’s Basin in 1930, where they docked their fishing fleet. In 1988, they introduced the River Queen, a custom-built Mississippi Riverboat replica crafted to blend 19th-century charm with modern luxury. Featuring climate-controlled cabins, mahogany floors, oak paneling, two bars, three outdoor decks, and stunning views of the Manasquan River, Point Pleasant Canal, and Barnegat Bay, the River Queen offers an unparalleled experience. Now run by the family’s fifth generation, Bogan’s Basin began river cruises to immerse guests in the region’s beauty and history. The River Queen has since hosted thousands of private events, from weddings to public cruises, with a team of dedicated captains, crew, and vendors ensuring every event is seamless. Combining timeless elegance with exceptional service, the River Queen continues to enchant guests and uphold the Bogan family’s tradition of excellence.

If you’re thinking about booking The Atlantis Ballroom as your venue, DO IT!!!! I literally cannot recommend them enough. LONG story short, we were two days away from our wedding and got a call our venue could no longer accommodate us. Realizing we had no time to panic and had to figure something out, my (now) husband suggested that we check out the Atlantis Ballroom because he’s been to several events there and they had always been nice. Not only were they able to make an entire wedding happen in just TWO DAYS notice, but they went above and beyond! Everyone we dealt with was so friendly. The food was AMAZING. Our cake was so cute! Literally everything was better than perfection. They had a huge supply of decorations/colors/etc. that we were able to pick for them to use to decorate the ballroom and for the cocktail hour. They also used some of our own stuff at our request since I already worked so hard on it. They were able to accommodate every single person who had a dietary restriction (keto, GF, allergies). We got married 3 months ago and every time I see anyone that was at our wedding, they rave about how it was the best and most fun wedding they ever went to! We wouldn’t have been able to do it without Jen and everyone else at The Atlantis Ballroom. There’s no way you’ll be disappointed in your choice by going with The Atlantis Ballroom for any of your events! I know I’ll definitely host any of my events there and I recommend to everyone I know. Thank you again for making our wedding the most magical day

From the first time we toured La Luna, Mark, Karen, and their staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and personable. They were patient and sweet with our parents, grandparents, and other family members, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure we were all on the same page about the vision for our wedding. They were able to accommodate our bicultural family with a bilingual DJ and menu items that were not listed on their menu, and everything at our reception was laid out with care and attention to detail. Our wedding party also stayed at the manor house for our entire wedding weekend, which was so much fun and so perfect!! We would absolutely recommend La Luna to anyone looking for an amazing place to host their special event, that is also reasonably priced and includes so much in their packages. Mark and Karen, we are also honored to share our wedding anniversary with you- thank you for working our wedding on your anniversary! :)

It's taken me a couple months to write this review since getting married at Park Loft in May because I just haven't felt I had the words to adequately express how perfect this venue and their entire team was. Our wedding day exceeded even our own expectations and was absolutely flawless. I expected a little hiccup somewhere along the way, but there were none. The entire team we worked with were true professionals and had the whole process down to a tee. Our director, Allie, was beyond organized and accommodating, helping us throughout the entire planning process. Chef Thomas is incredible and so invested in ensuring all the food was delicious. Everyone who attended went out of their way to tell us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. If you are considering booking with Park Loft, all I can say is DO IT!! You will not regret it and you and all your guests will be blown away by the all around perfection of Park Loft.

Libby, Aly, and Victoria took special care to make sure our wedding day was perfect, and they were there for us all the way through the process! All of our decor was set up beautifully, exactly what we wanted with very little instruction given to the staff. The bakery they partner with provided us with a very beautiful and tasty cake. Everything was perfect, from the sound, lighting, and drink & food service, and not to mention, the food was absolutely delicious! They also made sure our beach ceremony went effortlessly, and they smoothly transitioned us to the venue for the reception. All of this with a beautiful view to boot!
