“Our wedding cake was a highly anticipated part of our special day, and the team at Zingerman’s Bakehouse truly exceeded all of our expectations. During our initial consultation, Alyce was extremely helpful in guiding us through the many design options and hand-sketched the most beautiful cake that perfectly captured our wedding style and vision. The tasting box that they put together for us was absolutely delicious, and my husband and I had the best time picking out flavors from their many offerings and recommendations before finally deciding on their vanilla chiffon cake with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream. We really wanted to incorporate fresh floral arrangements on our cake, and the Zingerman’s Bakehouse team worked seamlessly with our florist to coordinate the design and set-up. On the day of our wedding, the cake was stunning and exactly how we envisioned it, and our guests endlessly complimented how absolutely delicious it was. After our wedding, the Bakehouse team also went above and beyond to help us coordinate for a replacement top tier for our anniversary after our hotel mistakenly threw ours away. We really can't thank Zingerman’s Bakehouse enough for their incredible work and for making the entire process easy and stress-free. “Can we get married again just so we can TREAT ourselves and ESCAPE to the land where every thing is so SWEET?! The highlight of our Wedding wasn’t us, the bride or groom, nor the venue, nor the very expensive meal, not even the rockin’ DJ! Nope, it was the shiny sliver ice cream cart and the delicious pop cakes and cupcakes that were there too, of course along with the host and hostess of this clever and colorful cart! They were as personable as their goodies were over the top delicious. Our guests said they wished they followed the old saying - “life is short, eat dessert first!” Most kept going up and getting more even though they were full, just because the two at the cart were so fun and socialable. I have to admit, start to finish working with Audra and Dennis from the moment I contacted them, and boy did I bother them with a million phone calls, texts, and emails, they were very kind, informative, and flexible to allow me to have exactly what I wanted. I was being a Bridezilla and they still treated me like a Princess Bride. My Dad wants my husband and I to get pregnant right away like most wanna-be-grandparents, BUT his reasoning was so we can hire the cart for the baby shower, first birthday party, and every birthday party after that, lol. Prices are reasonable, baked goods are colorful, fresh, and delicious. Ice cream has a great variety to appease anyone’s palate, and is super tasty! I just stumbled upon them and this was the best stumble of my entire wedding planning. I would more than highly recommend them!”
