To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”

“It was such a pleasure to have Grace as our photographer throughout this wedding journey. We had her shoot our engagement photos (which we loved!) in addition to our wedding. She was very communicative. From the very beginning, she was clear on pricing. She would always work with my schedule when setting up meetings to go over timelines. She even went over every photo with me after the engagement shoot to make sure that we’re all exactly what I was envisioning. On our wedding day she literally went above and beyond for us as well. She brought an assistant with her, as well as some great props and florals to be used in the photos. She did an amazing job sticking with my detailed timeline, getting photos at every location I wanted on property, and did a great job corralling our families during cocktail hour and giving firm and efficient directions so we could get the pictures quickly and they could get back to the fun. “I knew we needed to book Kaitlin from the second I found her Zola profile, but it was completely solidified by our meet and greet meeting. Kaitlin is exactly as described. So personal, completely herself, open and transparent, I could go on and on. One of the biggest things that sold us with Kaitlin (besides her work) was the fact that she gave us advice on what to look for/questions to ask with other photography vendors while we were on our hunt. We had our engagement photos in October in Boothbay Harbor and we are actually located in Western Mass. I had ideas in my head about what would work and Kaitlin made the drive to check out the locations and ensure they actually would. One of my locations wasn't the best lighting wise and she gave multiple other options to get similar looks. We actually ended up doing some downtown photos which are some of my favorites (which is a little a lie because I am obsessed with all of them). I read in multiple of Kaitlin's reviews that she makes awkward people comfortable behind the camera and I am here to say it is true. I was so stressed going into things, worried my hair looked bad, we wouldn't get *the* shot, we would look weird, etc. Kaitlin immediately asked me what my worries were and I felt so at ease. Working with Kaitlin felt like working with with a lifelong friend who really has it all together and is such a professional. I truly know that our wedding day is going to be that much better knowing she is going to be there documenting it all.”
