CHIC is a culmination of my retail, styling, and design background. Truthfully, the idea of this little biz was created while on lockdown during the pandemic, a little unorthodox I know, but I was determined. I identified this gap in the market the summer prior... after struggling to find a pretty dessert cart for an event at my client's new business launch. Viola! For years candy patties were made during the holidays and handed out to friends and family. As word of mouth spread a demand for more patties gave birth to Seacoast Sweets. 3 new flavors were added and by 2015 it was a full-time business. In 2018 Seacoast Sweets moved to Rhode Island from Massachusetts. Since then, Seacoast Sweets has continued to grow online, in destination hotels throughout New England, tourist locations, weddings, and events, at boutique retailers, and as a popular corporate gift.

I decided to take my passion for baking to the next level by creating my own baking business.
