I played softball and was the pitcher throughout high school and college. I graduated from Virginia State University with my BS in Psychology and got my master's in Curriculum & Instruction from Grand Canyon University. I work full-time as a reading interventionist for grades K-5 in Richmond Public Schools. I have been in education for 14 years! I have four sons, Kai, Chase, Carter, and Ameer. I started baking at six when my mother got me an EZ bake oven.

I taught myself how to bake and design cakes. What started out as a stress reliever turned into a newfound passion of baking and designing custom cakes. Fast forward to 2019, that’s when I decided to take things to another level. I created Forever Memories LLC.
