In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

We loved Hope Glen, my wife said it was way above and beyond what she had hope and dreamed for her wedding and all of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was! All the beautiful and differently decorated spaces were very functional and made our wedding flow effortlessly. We felt so blessed getting married in a super rain storm in the beautiful dinner hall. We also loved the tree house, it was such a magical place to spend our first night together. We loved the ambient worship music, we were worshipping together all night until we fell asleep. It was super special. Also Eryka was incredible. The bridal bliss package was absolutely worth every penny. I don't know how we could have got all that done on our own without her help, especially being out of state. We also highly recommend the horse carriage. The audible gasp of all our gusts was intoxicating as my beautiful bride arrived by horse carriage looking like a storybook princess.

Reeds & Rushes is an amazing venue! When we first toured the place, it was still under construction, but we trusted Curtis and Maddy's vision. They truly impressed us with the final result. With the wood details and black and white accents, the venue provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. We were thrilled with the addition of the dock and the pergolas in the back patio. Our outdoor ceremony by the lake was beautiful. The Bridal & Groom suites were terrific, I loved that the Groom suite had a golf simulator – it kept the guys entertained while they waited! The Bridal suite was also gorgeous and spacious enough for 8 girls. Curtis and Maddy were excellent to work with, very responsive, and always helpful whenever we had any questions. I would definitely recommend them!

The Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington did such a wonderful job with our wedding! We had our reception there and it was beautiful! Katherine Hughes was our coordinator and she went above and beyond to not only meet our needs but make sure we had a smoothe wedding. She even helped by setting up a lot of our reception, setting up desserts, folding place cards, etc. our guests had a great time and really loved their stay. The suite we got to stay in was huge and so nice!

The Broz offers a variety of backdrops and has a beautiful outdoor space for the ceremony, cocktail hour and photos. It's definitely a hidden gem located in the heart of downtown New Prague.

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at The Van Dusen Mansion, and it was truly a dream come true. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. The mansion is absolutely stunning, and the team’s professionalism made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. After placing our deposit, we received a clear and detailed planning timeline, which the team stuck to from beginning to end. Monica, the venue director, was incredibly responsive and genuinely excited to work with us. We were planning a hybrid cultural wedding, which can sometimes be daunting for vendors, but Monica embraced it wholeheartedly and made us feel supported every step of the way. We also appreciated the flexibility of being able to tour the venue multiple times without any pushback. By the time our wedding day arrived, it truly felt like we were inviting guests into our own home. One thing to note: the venue requires that the get-ready rooms be cleaned out before the ceremony begins. This was a bit inconvenient as things got hectic, and we recommend couples assign someone specifically to manage that, as we did lose track of a few personal items after the event. The only other downside is that you're required to use their exclusive catering partner, Mintahoe (we've left a separate review for them). Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We have our beautiful ballrooms on the main level and lower level as well.

The Hotel Ivy, A Luxury Collection Hotel in Minneapolis was an absolute dream hotel for our wedding party. From the very first moment we reached out, Morgan was a pleasure to work with—attentive, organized, and always ready with helpful advice and solutions. She made the entire planning process feel seamless, and we knew we were in great hands. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We were blessed with perfect weather for our outdoor ceremony, which was set against a gorgeous backdrop that made for unforgettable photos. The location is breathtaking, and it truly felt like a dream come true on our big day. We enjoyed the fun and informative group tasting event. It gave us a chance to experience the venue fully set up for a larger event, and it was so helpful to visualize everything in action. Plus, the food was great! We also did a walking taco late for our night food and it was a big hit with our guests! The staff at Nicollet Island Pavilion were also amazing. The servers and bartenders were professional, kind, and went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. They made sure every detail was taken care of so we could enjoy the day without worry. All in all, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible venue and the wonderful team that made it all happen. Looking for your wedding venue? Look no further! The Graduate was the most exceptional venue for our big day! Planning: Michael was phenomenal from day one. We live out of state and did much of our planning via emails/calls. We were able to see the venue when it worked with our schedule and Michael was quick to respond when we had questions. Michael is great at setting timelines and gives a really easy excel to assist with the food planning. Location: Parking ramp with a skywalk attached and many amenities in walking distance! Our guests had so many compliments about the ease of our location as well as HOW COOL the hotel is. It is so unique and offers something for everyone. We booked the get ready room and that was nice to have the night before and day off for people to meet up in. We also did the Top Golf Suite the morning of and the groomsmen had a blast. Food: The catering package was amazing. Our guests continue to rave about the food. The cocktail hour had amazing snacks! The team even made sure my husband and I got our own plate to enjoy. Dinner was seamless and the portions were huge. No one was left hungry. Our late night pizza was also a hit! Staff: The staff from the front desk, to the bartenders, to the catering team, EVERYONE WAS AMAZING. So kind, always had a smile and there were no hiccups. If we had any questions they were eager to help and kept everything on track. Price: You get a lot for what you pay for. The package included perks as well! Overall: I would get married here again in a heartbeat. My husband and I had so much fun and the entire Graduate team was amazing. Do not overlook this amazing venue!

The Mendakota Country Club is a beautiful venue and we had the vision for how beautiful the course would be in the early fall for our wedding when we toured in the dead of winter!! Our photos throughout the day in multiple locations throughout the venue are stunning with beautiful greenery and waterfronts. MCC checked every box for what we looked for in a venue, including (but not limited to): the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony and flexibility in having both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the event including cocktail hour, onsite getting ready spaces, onsite catering with a variety of dinner options and a cohesive, one-level space (helpful and easy for family members with physical mobility issues) Adena was very responsive and by the end of our year and a half engagement, had responded to 200 emails, discussing details and answering questions for our big day! Jessica and Adena in partnership with our Day of Coordinator were able to manage many moving pieces and make our big day come together beautifully, and the waitstaff and barstaff were wonderful to work with. While we had a good experience overall with MCC, there were two day-of notes that did detract from our Big Day: We were told that the staff will “stop golfers” from teeing off at certain holes during the ceremony, however we had numerous golfers walk right behind our officiant during the ceremony and even one golfer approximately 15 feet from us saying our vows yelling to someone in the parking lot. While we understand it is a country club/golf course first and foremost, MCC charges couples a 1,200 onsite ceremony fee that should come with the expectations of no members on the first few holes of the course during the ceremony. During the reception, the temperature was not well maintained and by the time the dance floor was fully opened, all guests were profusely sweating. While there were industrial fans to help keep the room cool, it was not as effective as we would have liked, especially during an unseasonably warm day in mid-September.

We used the Capitol Room for both our Ceremony and Reception and it was absolutely perfect! The space is stunning and holds a lot of character. We had plenty of space for both my wife and I to get ready in two separate suites. There was a separate space for everyone to enjoy cocktail hour while the room was flipped for the reception and dance. From the minute we toured the space we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. Sitting down with Megan was an absolute delight. We hired her for her day of coordinator services as well and she took care of everything. She made the room stunning and we didn’t have to worry about anything. She was extremely professional, she was in constant communication with us and even took our call the night before at 10pm when our officiant quit on us last minute. She helped us through the situation and calmed our nerves. The day of the ceremony it felt like we were working with one of our close friends by our sides. We can’t recommend Megan and the Capitol Room enough!!
