The only not so great things I would like to mention from our experience are that there is little to no communication with the photographer and videographer prior to the wedding. Luckily I was planning to just let them do their thing and not need much input from myself, but that may not be ideal for someone who had a specific vision for how they want their wedding shot. Also it has taken a long time to receive our wedding videography. It has been 6 weeks since our wedding and I have not received it yet unfortunately. We have received our photos and there are tons to see and they turned out beautiful.”

“When my wife and I were planning our wedding, we were initially hesitant to book Once Like a Spark Wedding Co. since they were not a local company, and we didn't get to talk directly to the photographer or videographer until the day of the wedding. That being said, what sold us was their website/gallery, their professionalism when getting a quote, and that our venue vouched for them. OLAS' team's communication was responsive, quick, and thorough, putting us at ease. We had planning calls and surveys leading up the day of. Jasmine T did a stellar job setting us up to look our best, and she had her work cut out for her, because she was dealing with two brides, two dresses, and an outfit change! Jasmine was also great about following our instructions from the survey and planning meetings. For example, we had included pictures in front of a wall of donuts at the venue, but we later changed the wall of donuts to cannoli's and forgot to tell OLAS. Turns out the venue threw in the donut wall back in without telling us. Jasmine brought us to the wall, and it made for a great surprise and cute pictures. Jeremy did an amazing job on the videography and editing. Watching the highlight video made us cry because he really captured our best moments and those real smiles in the midst of the stress and hustle and bustle of the wedding day. OLAS gave us complimentary rush photos and video without us asking which was a 2-3 week was turn around. Despite our initial trepidation, we are so happy we booked OLAS. They went above and beyond to make our special day memorable for a lifetime. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! Elliot is incredibly responsive - like anytime we had a question (which was often) he would be texting/calling us back within 10 min. It was so nice and really helped relieve a lot of stress throughout our planning. Elliot is extremely knowledgeable in his field of work and was extremely helpful in guiding all of our poses and providing insight on the best location spots and recommended order of events. Elliot prioritizes you on your special day and will do anything to get the best shots - he literally climbed a tree for us lol! He also kept a box of Q-tips on him at all times to help me blot my tears without ruining my makeup which was so so sweet. Elliot is also very efficient. He gets great shots super quickly and can work within your timeline. He literally had our sneak peeks and drone video uploaded to my phone the same day as our event. Overall, Elliot is extremely passionate about his work and will do everything he can to ensure you are happy with the result. Founded in 2019 by our owner, Joe Nagan, Exceptional Entertainment is quickly becoming a well-known name in the entertainment industry. Joe has a strong passion for music having attended UW-Oshkosh for Music Engineering and traveling the world performing since a young age with various chorale groups. Booking Exceptional Entertainment is much more than just hiring a person to play some music. Our fantastic DJs are there to help you every step of the way. We provide so much more than just music and lighting, we provide an experience for you and your guests to enjoy and remember.

“We are so happy we chose Joe as our DJ! He has lots of meetings to talk through everything so you don’t have to worry about it on the day of! We had so many compliments on how amazing our DJ was and the Photo Booth was a hit. We loved how Joe could read the dance floor and the type of music the people liked and continued to play that music. People were complaining about their feet hurting for days because they were on the dance floor all night because the music was too good. Joe also used to work at our venue so he was very knowledgeable about the schedule as well as the space and other vendors which made it less stressful”

However, at times they seemed a bit hurried when working with our wedding party and guests, though they remained attentive and eager to get the right shots. For example, the photographer remembered the little details that made our photos special, but we felt a bit rushed after the ceremony and didn't fully capture the joy of those moments. Overall, TWA provided solid photography services, but could have been a bit more patient and attuned to our desired pace for the day.”

“I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”
