Having our wedding at Bay Pointe was to put it simply: perfection. We booked our wedding over a year in advance and from the first few seconds that we stepped in for our tour of the venue, we were in love. Mariesa, our sales manager, was so personable and so accommodating. The entire process leading up to the wedding was so efficient working with Madison. She was so communicative and so easy to work with. All of our changes, questions, recommendations, literally everything - she had an answer to! We always felt so welcomed by the entire staff. Our rehearsal dinner at the Bay Pointe Bar and Grill was beautiful and the staff that night were amazing - they made sure we were doing ok, our family was fed and everyone was having a good time. Lauren, our day of coordinator was excellent at her job. She worked so well with all of our vendors and family. We had the BEST time ever. The value is worth the money you spend. A huge thank you to everyone on the Bay Pointe team who helped us along the way and the weekend of.

Listen, I'd love to grumble about the cost of the venue itself. But in all honesty, Boatwerks (and Hannah, the event manager) was 100% up front about costs. From the moment we first toured the space, the event manager Hannah was prompt in her communication and transparent about all costs. Hannah even shared a mock up quote the day we initially toured the venue - and it was spot on for the actual event. The truth? The venue was absolutely, without a doubt, 100% worth every cent we paid. We had the patio open all night, there was plenty of food, minimal waits at the bar - all things our guests are still raving about. The venue itself was beautiful, with a lovely waterfront view that provided a picturesque backdrop for our reception. And the food was delicious - our guests raved about the quality and presentation. While the venue cost was a bit higher than other Red Water event venues, it was absolutely worth it for the exceptional service and stunning location. Hannah and the Boatwerks team went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect in every way. We're so grateful we chose Boatwerks and would highly recommend them to any couple seeking a beautiful space to celebrate one of the best days of their lives.

We loved the venue, but sometimes had a hard time with communication. It took days (sometimes longer) for emails to be answered which in wedding timeline you need answers faster than a week later. It was easy for our guests to find and the flow of the event was great. Venue coordinator is educated and experienced in weddings, however we also noticed we would have liked for them to step back a little and let the people who were put in charge of something do their jobs. Some of my guests in charge of specific setup/flow timeline felt like they were not able to do what they had been asked as the staff was overstepping. We did love our day though and the beauty of the venue, feels super historic and a great layout of space for plenty of guests.
