My husband and I just got married here on September 13, 2025 but I’ve attended several weddings at this venue and I LOVE it every single time I arrive. Our wedding was the most perfect day! Carnes Lake has an intimate, at home feel! The out door space is amazing with multiple options for how you can set up for an outdoor event. The inside venue space is the intimate part, it’s small but MIGHTY! We had about 150 guests at our wedding and had plenty of room out on the patio area AND inside. They have a full kitchen with an island that’s perfect for serving space and preparation for making food! Ugh, everything about Carnes Lake helped make our day SO magical! Mrs. Fran, the owner, is so helpful and sweet & has answers to all of your questions and quickly! She was a delight to work with through our planning! Carnes Lake is just the most precious spot for your event/ wedding! We LOVED every thing about it!

My partner and I toured this property for a private event we are hosting later this year! We’ve explored other event venues in the area and I must say Greengate Manor & Gardens really took our breath away. The attention to details is prevalent throughout the property & we got a chance to meet the property manager Michelle who was absolutely delightful & helpful. Some of my favorite features were the high peak tent which sets this venue apart & creates such a luxurious & elegant feel. The blooming gardens and the indoor space available are all well kept and beautifully decorated. We are so thrilled to move forward with booking this space. Additionally, this venue is owned by a lovely couple and you can tell they have put their heart and soul into the details of the venue, it’s rare to find a venue space that has that human touch & warmth and Greengate Manor certainly excels in that respect!

Working with Tony and Beth at Old Lystra Inn was an absolute dream from start to finish. After spending countless hours searching for the perfect venue, my husband and I knew immediately that this was the one the moment we pulled up the driveway. Tony greeted us with a late-evening tour that felt incredibly personal, not at all rushed—and it set the tone for everything that followed. The property itself is breathtaking. The grounds are impeccably maintained and filled with charm, and so much is included in the rental package—tent, dance floor, chairs, tables, and more—which made planning far less stressful. It was a huge relief not having to coordinate all those big logistics separately. Beth and Tony were a constant source of support leading up to the big day. Whether it was a quick stop by to walk the grounds, a late-night email, or one of our many questions (and there were a lot!), they always made time for us. We never felt like “just another couple” in a long wedding season. Instead, they made us feel like our day truly mattered—like we were getting married in a place that had heart and soul, not just beautiful scenery. On the day itself, Tony was everywhere—behind the scenes making things happen and helping everything flow effortlessly. We can’t overstate how much that meant to us. Thanks to his quiet dedication, we were able to be fully present and just enjoy the day. We are endlessly grateful to have had our wedding at Old Lystra Inn. It was the best day of our lives, and Tony and Beth played such a meaningful role in making that possible. The details this venue and staff offers really pulled the day together and you can tell how thought out everything was. Cara and her staff took the BEST care of us and were so helpful throughout the planning process. Not only that but they are so friendly and inviting! Hannah is amazing!! She was so patient going through our questions and she was so thoughtful making us feel remembered and top priority the entire time! Cara is so connected in the industry, so we received a lot of our vendors through her recommendations and I’m so glad we trusted her because everyone was top quality and our perfect fit! We had booked this venue under another management company and I think that's a really important preface - the venue had not been managed for seven months when we arrived so of course it wasn't perfect and there were some issues. None of this was the fault of the new management, who went above and beyond to help us to have a wonderful event. The estate is VAST, there is so much room for a large luxury event here, and plenty of guest space too. It really is a beautiful place for a wedding or special event with a ton of amazing places for stunning photographs.

My wedding was this past December, and I had been looking for a hotel to accommodate my family and friends. The Hyatt House in Morrisville was the perfect spot. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and even handed out gift bags to our guests. The event coordinator, Brett, is absolutely fantastic to work with. He is not only professional, but extremely kind and responsive. I am a big fan of Hyatt in general, but this experience just really solidified everything about Hyatt I already like. The hotel lobby area/bar was the perfect spot for the family to informally gather during the wedding weekend and the variety in breakfast day to day was also an added bonus. Our wedding at the Barn at Stoney Hill was absolutely magical and a dream come true. From the moment we stepped foot at the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The owners, Cliff and Jennifer, are truly amazing. They were so understanding, easy to work with, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we dreamed of. The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The theme color, the lighting, the outside view, and the bride's suite were just perfect. The venue did not need much decoration due to its beauty by itself. If you're looking for a venue that will make your wedding dreams come true, look no further than the Barn at Stoney Hill. Spaces seem to be getting smaller and more clinical. Everything covered in hospital white and agreeable grey. We recently booked our event at the Magnolia Inn right after their exterior face-lift. Our event had the energy of a Great Gatsby gala with the class and charm of Southern Hospitality. The staff was attentive and available for any last minute changes or adjustments and catered to all of our needs. If you end up staying the night as well (like we did) the breakfast spread will have you asking for seconds and a late check out while you sit on the front porch swing while the Sunday sun starts to warm up the quaint little town around you. Our photo session was so much better in a place that you could easily imagine what a regal life would be like in a large Victorian home. My family came along with me and I now have a timeless photo of my two children walking down the grand staircase holding hands that will be the placeholder in my mind for the sweet innocent time of their lives that they are in right now. Repeat sessions already booked, can't recommend this gem enough. Free private parking, fast wifi, walking distance to food, drinks, and fun. A must have for weddings or an elevated event/date night.
