Lorraine Ceglia is the owner and creator of Beautifauxl Cakes. Lorraine has been designing and decorating cakes since 2008. Since then, Lorraine has appeared in two issues of Cake Central Magazine, as a featured cake artist. She has also been acknowledged for her cake artistry for the charity Icing Smiles, by Satin Ice. In 2017, Lorraine was contracted by Lord & Taylor to create twenty display cakes for a window display at their flagship store in NYC. ​ Her passion for cake decorating led her to create Beautifauxl Cakes as an elegant and chic alternative to the conventional bakery cake.

Laura Curtis, a Culinary Institute of America grad, was working as a R&D chef when she made her first batch of bright pink, tart & fruity Raspberry Hibiscus marshmallows. Her husband suggested she name the new amply fluffy creations Malvi, short for malvavisco, the Spanish word for marshmallow. She created Malvi Mallows using European-Style butter and Fair-Trade chocolate to make Malvi cookies extra rich, and dried hibiscus flowers, locally roasted espresso, whole vanilla bean, and organic Georgia peanuts to maximize marshmallow flavors, then built a business so that everyone can party s'more.
