As a lifelong entrepreneur at heart, I have always sought to work for myself. Pursuing years of academic and professional experience in various bakeries, I ultimately decided to establish my own home-based bakery. Over the course of the past decade, our business has experienced remarkable growth. Our product offerings are currently available at Dave's Market in Ohio City and Cleveland Heights, Lucky's in Cleveland, Country Maid Ice Cream in Richfield, and Rise and Grind Cafe in Berea. We are particularly interested in expanding our wedding and shower dessert services to support couples in their special celebrations.

Scratch Bakery began in 2016, as my passion for baking grew into a full time “job.” I enjoy working with my clients to create the perfect treats for their occasions. My main focus is taste, taste, taste - using quality ingredients and made all from scratch. If something looks wonderful, but doesn’t taste good, I do not use it. Part of the reason I began baking and decorating was due to unmet expectations. I don’t ever want my clients to feel as though they didn’t receive what they were hoping for.

Cleveland native Dave Southerington started Sweet! The Mobile Cupcakery in May of 2011 and Dave and his team have been “bringing cupcakes to a street corner near you” ever since. You will find the Sweet! Food Truck Fleet in and around Northeast, Ohio at various festivals, holiday events, and food truck roundups from mid-spring to early fall every year. And now, Sweet! The Mobile Cupcakery has a traditional “brick and mortar” storefront 1983 W. 28th Street in the heart of Ohio City! Cupcakes can be purchased from the shop or from the cupcake trucks in Cleveland at one of the various venues that Sweet! The Mobile Cupcakery frequents.

You Enjoy My Donuts was created by two people who wanted to spend more time together. Because our venture was inspired by love, we wanted the celebration of love to become a central theme of our business. Spreading joy through delicious mini donuts has become a passion for us and is something uniquely wonderful that we can bring to your wedding!

Gailz Goodiez has catered over 150 weddings with delicious cake pops! With over 30 flavors to choose from, they will certainly please all of your guests. Gluten-free, Vegan, Keto, nut-free and sugar free are all available. Each cake pop comes individually wrapped and tied with either a twisty or a colored ribbon ($1 more per dozen). They are baked and decorated to order and are sold individually (for $3 each) or by the dozen (for $24) Cookies and other goodies are also available. This is a home based business and all products are home produced under the Ohio Cottage Law. I do not make wedding cakes.

Any Way You Ice It was founded by the imagination of my mother, Janene Housley, and I. I grew up around the creation of wedding cakes by my mom. From the baking to the delivery, I was always intrigued. I attended the International Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute. I graduated top of my class with a two-year degree, a diploma and a Pastry Chef title. I suit the traditional and the modern bride’s needs …if you can dream it I will make it! Each and every cake is a unique designer cake, an edible work of art. “From Imagination to Creation”, I will work with you to create your perfect cake.

It started with a hobby, witch turned into a dream, and eventually became a reality for the empty nester of our company. The quaint specialty shop opened its doors in December 2009 and features specialty cupcakes and cakes. Each of our cupcakes is baked fresh each morning then topped with our special recipe buttercreams, made each week in house with quality products and fresh butter. Everything is in the details , down to the hand tied ribbon on the boxes.

I recently took over my mom's cake business. She has been loved by many for years. I have been a decorator for her for the last 5 years and she has taught me everything she knows. I love making all of my customers big days even sweeter!
