He worked with us beforehand to get a feel for us as a couple and what we wanted for our big day. He was very easy to work with both before and during the wedding. He kept our guests engaged and entertained. He was able to accurately read the room and tailor the music to keep everyone happy. When several guests requested karaoke (which was not discussed beforehand) he doublechecked that it was okay with us before moving forward. DJ’s at an event can definitely make or break an occasion. In both, our biggest priority was having a photographer capture the intimate, joyful small details. We went with Emilee because of her eye for the beauty in the small things. She captured both our days perfectly. DOCUMENTARY STYLE: Emilee was perfect behind the scenes, capturing beautiful moments of our friends and family, small details of the courthouse with just us. Duncan and I really wanted our photographer to capture our true emotion and to get candids of us, and Lucia DID THAT! The day felt blissful and a key point for us was that we got to enjoy the day without it feeling solely like a photoshoot which I think speaks to Lucias talent and confidence in her craft. She was good at giving guiding advice for posing without us feeling posed. I put together a Pinterest board and shot list which she really did a great job pulling inspiration from. The photos are stunning and the exact style we envisioned. Also, our sneak peak was huge and she got them to us very fast.
