ABOUT: The Quarry at Carrigan Farms features clear blue water, white sand beach and lush green lawn surround the 75 foot tall cascading waterfall. Located thirty miles North of Charlotte North Carolina, Carrigan Farms is a real farm that grows delicious fruits and vegetables such as asparagus, lettuce, sweet corn, strawberries, apples, pumpkins and more. The indoor climate controlled reception space that can accommodate 300 guests is light and airy and includes everything from a beautiful fireplace, to a grand metal staircase, to clear doors that can be opened to the large outdoor patio. Couples have the ability to get dressed on site in beautifully appointed suites where every detail has been considered for comfort of guests and vendors alike. ​The barn has been built from the ground up by Craig Carpenter, his brother Timmy Carpenter and other family and friends. Many of the trees use to build the barn were harvested from their property and were prepared at their saw mill on site. The idea for a wedding venue began was a dream of their daughter, now Zimmerwald's Estate manager Katie Carpenter White. What began as a simple dream and a sketch on a piece of notebook paper, has now become a reality. We are extremely excited to be a place where beautiful family memories can be made and couples can begin their happily ever after!
