She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. “We just received our photos back from our wedding about a month ago, and we were blown away. We had a feeling the photos would be wonderful because of how professional and attentive our photographer (Athel) was, but of course there is always still that suspense. The team at Indigo and Ivory was wonderful throughout the entire process, always communicative, and it felt like they really cared. Athel even drove a good distance to attend an open house with us at our venue, to get some ideas ahead of time around what settings would be best. He was lovely throughout the whole event, super accommodating of our special requests, and captured all the most important moments. We cannot recommend them enough, the images came out amazing and we are getting tons of compliments! If there is anything I would do differently (and this is not any knock on Indigo and Ivory, this is just general advice for anyone looking to hire any photographer), I probably would have went ahead and added a second photographer for the day (which is something they offer). I wanted to cut costs a bit so we didn't go for it - but of course if you have two you will make sure to get all the different angles you are hoping for and then each person can spend a bit more time with both wedding parties to capture more of those candid moments. I also wish I had made sure to put together a better list of shots that I wanted - once again, these are items that I recommend in general and has nothing to do with Indigo and Ivory. If there are certain things you want your photographer to capture, make sure to write them down and communicate! With all that being said, even if you go with just one photographer and you happen to forget to write down all the specific moments or you just want things to be more free-flow - I 100% recommend Indigo and Ivory for you! They are wonderful and I'm so happy we have these gorgeous images to treasure for years to come.”

Our venue had restrictions such as a short setup window, but Lissa communicated with them and navigated the situation very well to make everything go smoothly. “Ryan is truly the jack of all trades, the absolute kindest human being, and incredibly professional. We are SO glad he was a (major!) part of our wedding day! He was super communicative when we had questions, helped give us some advice, and *!!!even learned a new song just for us!!!* We had just attended a friends wedding and the music was super unrelatable to my fiance (husband now lol) and our friends. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING. He curated the perfect playlist, set up THREE different locations to play, AND was super cool to honor all our specific wishes. 10 mins to the end I went to him and said eh we are tired such a long day, we can probably wrap up - he assured me he had some incredible songs for the last few, told me to rally- he DID. Ended the night on such a fun, high note. I would recommend Ryan over and over and over and over again. Not only did he totally rock the DJ/musician aspect, but he’s truly a kind person- which just really rounded out the whole experience. 10000/10 experience — thank you Ryan!!!”

“I first heard about Completely Captured when my husband (then fiancé) booked Elizabeth for our engagement session. We loved the photos so much that we knew we had to book her again for our elopement. Elizabeth’s communication and planning were exceptional. She was incredibly flexible with dates, understanding our need to finalize locations closer to the ceremony. We scheduled a phone call to discuss our vision, and she beautifully captured the inspiration photos I shared. She also helped plan the photography timeline and was proactive with poses and lighting suggestions, which I greatly appreciated. On our elopement day, Elizabeth was professional, friendly, and prepared with all the necessary equipment. She made us and our family, including our french bulldog, feel completely comfortable and even stayed longer to ensure we got all the shots we wanted. The final gallery exceeded all expectations. She knocked it out of the park through every step of the process and we received SO many beautiful images for both our engagement photos and wedding. We worked with them for our engagement photoshoot, followed by our week-long Indian wedding. We told them the general look we wanted for our engagement shoot and they were able to find a location close to us. For our wedding week, they both made sure that they understood our vision for each event and knew exactly what we wanted to capture. It was most important to us that our photos looked natural and not too staged/posed. And we're so glad that we came across them because that is exactly their style. “The experience we had with Chad was 10/10. I'm a bit late reviewing but Chad did our wedding in May & I can't even put into words how great he was. We knew immediately Mist & Moss was perfect for us after meeting Chad on zoom when we were first searching for vendors. We knew nothing at all about wedding planning and he made us feel totally at ease, talked us through the whole process of how the video process worked and right off the bat made us feel like friends. The day of they were the PERFECT chill (but organized) presence we needed, they were there for every second and caught every moment perfectly.
