As we merge two households we find ourselves only in need of ADVENTURE! Iceland is a bucket list location for both of us. We plan to see as much of it as possible and there are countless options for adventure such as food tours of Reykjavik, helicopter sightseeing of geothermal spots, and countless lagoons and thermal spas to relax in! We are so excited to step into the charming landscape of East Iceland on a search to see wild reindeer freely roaming the region!

We will ride along hills and mountains nearby Skálakot towards the stunning 30-metre high waterfall!

Höfn is a peaceful town located on a thin strip of land between the sea and the Vatnsjökull glacier and we can’t wait to enjoy the local highlight of a lobster dinner at Humarhöfnin restaurant!

On this excursion, we'll enjoy an easy 2-hour walk with crampons on a glacier in South Iceland. It will take us through a wonderland of glacial ice sculptures as we navigate the ice ridges and deep crevasses of the glacier.

We’ll hop aboard a RIB (“rigid inflatable boat”) tour from Húsavík into the nearby bay to sight whales swimming freely and we will pass by Puffin Island, where thousands of puffins can be spotted during nesting season.

After days of adventure we plan to indulge in the ultimate relaxation experience at the Forest Lagoon. This hidden gem in the Vaðlaskógur forest offers pure tranquility in an otherworldly natural environment.

We can't wait to experience the magical journey, deep within the glacier, a world of magnificent, stunning blue ice.

This fishing village of 2,300 inhabitants is a perfect tourist spot for lunch with impressive views of the Kinnarfjöll mountains across the bay, easy hikes through varied landscape and good trout fishing.

The Christmas spirit is alive and well year-round in Akureyri at the Christmas Garden (Jólagarðurinn)! If you know us WE LOVE CHRISTMAS and can't wait to taste some local lunchtime treats and learn all about Icelandic Christmas traditions!
