October 26, 2014

Welcome to our registry! Here you will find a different and unique way to support us as we prepare for marriage, and we are so excited to have you involved in our lives in this way. As stewards of the money that God gives, we want to use this money for long term future impact. Most couples spend a large amount of money on their wedding day, which swiftly slips away without future impact. So instead of spending $6-9,000 on a venue, we are putting that same money toward the future as a way to care for our families, our church, and our future children. How we are doing this is by taking that venue money and putting it toward landscaping our very large backyard of our new house, and planning our wedding ceremony there! This way we will have a customized, gorgeous wedding venue, that we will be able to enjoy, sharing it with our families and church, utilizing it for future ministry and business opportunities. And how cool it will be to dream up and build with our own hands our wedding venue! The wisdom in investing in the property, of course, is that it builds equity, which pays back in re-sale value later. We consider this long-term investment a wise way to begin marriage by "saving" instead of incurring serious debt. This is one of our fundamental convictions about stewardship of God's resources. As a result, the wonderful memories that we will be sharing with you on October 26th, 2014 at our home will be remembered and cherished daily, and will likely impact even the lives of our future children. Tommy and I have both lived on our own for many years, and God has already provided the things that we need inside our house for everyday living. We are so pleased and excited to have friends like you be a part of this project with us -- your help will be “CEMENTED" in “STONE" in our yard and in our hearts for years :). Thank you for being in our lives, for supporting us individually and as a unit, and for your encouragement and help moving forward on this huge job! Tommy & Cassia
