There's something magical about taking every little detail of such an important occasion and bringing them together to create lifelong memories for our couples and their families. ​ Based in beautiful Charlottesville, we are an experienced wedding and event planner team dedicated to making your dream wedding come to life. We don't want any couple (or their families) to have the stress of managing all of the event details on the wedding day. After all, the guests of honor should be enjoying every moment!

We provide packages and custom planning options focused on relationship-driven client experiences. We will work together to bring your vision to life and create a seamless guest experience, while highlighting what's makes the celebration uniquely yours. From event design to execution, we're here for every detail. We take your vision and values to thoughtfully curate an event that is distinctively yours. We'll hand-select top vendors to bring together an elegant color palette, tasteful décor, and personalized details. Our process includes the creation of timelines and layouts, budget management, and vendor coordination. Your wedding will be complete with flawless event execution for your joyful, romantic celebration.

Partial-service planning is a delightful option for couples who are excited to take the lead for the wedding planning process, but they're looking for expert industry guidance throughout the way. We'll be hand-in-hand throughout the process, starting with a vision and details call. From there we'll create an itemized budget outline and Mary Elizabeth Events will provide a personalized vendor list for you. We'll be with you every step of the way.

6-8 weeks before your wedding, you can hand the reins over to Mary Elizabeth Events. We'll make sure that you and your VIPs get to enjoy the day to the fullest. Our real collaboration begins with a venue walkthrough and details meeting, where we'll create your comprehensive wedding day timeline. Prior to that, you and your fiancé will have access to our collaborative wedding drive full of planning resources.

They will think through every aspect of your special day, help you fine tune your vision, communicate clearly with vendors, and execute your wedding day seamlessly so that you can soak in every moment! From a venue manager perspective, I always know that we will have a fabulous and stress free wedding at Eastwood when Mary or Nadia are at the helm!

    Before your wedding day, everybody prepares you for how to react if something goes wrong. But no one prepares you for how you’ll feel when everything goes right. Everything went right. It was perfect, and that is very much a credit to the amazing planning support provided by Mary. From flexible and high-touch planning calls months in advance of our big day, to thoughtful and energetic day-of coordination, Mary gave us the peace of mind every couple deserves leading up to and on the day of their wedding. As bride and groom, we were really able to sit back and relax day of our wedding and soak in the whole experience as Mary and her team ensured that everything was set up as we discussed. Our bridal party was impressed with how we were able to relax day of and leave everything to Mary and her team.

    Mary was so great to work with! We could not have made it through our wedding day without her! My fiance and I moved to a new city and both started new jobs all within three months of the wedding which was a huge additional stressor. Mary worked around our crazy schedules and helped keep us on track with planning and the million details that have to fall in to place before the big day. There were so many details that I never would have thought to prepare for without Mary reminding me. I never felt overwhelmed though because I knew Mary had everything under control to make our wedding wonderful. Mary was so thoughtful and caring and did everything in her power to make my dream wedding a reality.
