Hi! I'm Emma, owner and lead photographer of Emma Mullins Photography. Our goal is simple: to capture your vibe, your people, and your love in a way that looks and feels true to life. We just wrapped our 9th Chicago wedding season, and it's been a whirlwind of all things real and fabulous!
My hands-off, documentary approach allows couples to feel totally comfortable in front of the camera (it's the number one thing mentioned in my Reviews!). Expect a mix of candid moments and contemporary portraiture while still being able to enjoy time with your guests. Perfect Wedding Day!
We LOVED working with Emma and Jeremy for our wedding. Emma was incredibly thoughtful from the planning of our engagement shoot all the way through to our the wedding day. Our wedding had many moving pieces and a large family that required coordination and a precise timeline to capture all of our photos. At one point, our bus was stuck in traffic on Michigan Avenue and we had to get out and run to the Wrigley building to take all of our photos. Instead of that being a stressful moment, it turned into one of the more fun and unique moments of our wedding which was due in large part to the photography team being flexible with the quick change of plans. We are so thankful for Emma and Jeremy's positive attitude and we are in love with all of the pictures we have from our wedding.

We are so glad that we booked Emma Mullins Photography for our engagement photos and wedding - Emma is phenomenal! Our package included an engagement shoot, a second photographer, and a wedding album. We did our engagement shoot in Lincoln Park (where we got engaged). If you’re introverted like we are, rest assured that Emma will put you and your partner at ease and take stunning, creative shots. We saw several other couples also doing engagement shoots, and compared to other photographers, Emma was lively and made the experience fun. It was important that we felt comfortable with the person capturing intimate moments on a meaningful day, and Emma was absolutely the right person for the job. To prepare for our wedding day, Emma asked thoughtful questions and helped us create a list of shots and special details to capture. She did a wonderful job capturing every special moment of the ceremony and the reception, and the second photographer, Alexis, matched her energy and style. When we reviewed the photos afterward, we were delighted with how they turned out. Our album is a wonderful keepsake. We will cherish the photos of my husband and I, our bridal party, and family and friends. We cannot recommend Emma enough!
Outstanding Experience
The entire team at Emma Mullins Photography - including Emma herself - impressed us greatly from the start of our wedding planning process to the days that followed our wedding. Emma’s team rocks!
Emma and her team photographed & video’d our July wedding and we were thrilled with the results! Emma was seamless to work with and was quick to respond to all of our questions pre-wedding day. Day of, Emma and her team were punctual and were fantastic at coordinating our bridal party and family for all the photos we wanted. She made everyone feel comfortable but kept her eye on the clock and kept us on schedule. Throughout the whole reception Emma was on the move capturing all of our special moments and favorite people, even coordinating a final shoot for my husband and I before she left at the end of the night. Emma turned out photos around quickly, providing sneak photos to us while we were still on our honeymoon and our album & video were ready soon after that. We loved working with Emma and team and can’t recommend her enough!
