We recommend accepting their request to RSVP, so that they get an automated email letting them know that they can now RSVP to your wedding events. Problem solved—and they won't find out about the list mix-up.
By the way, this will create a new record on your “Definitely” list, so you may want to go in and delete the original guest entry from your “Maybe” list.
