Hi! I'm Emma, owner and lead photographer of Emma Mullins Photography. Our goal is simple: to capture your vibe, your people, and your love in a way that looks and feels true to life. We just wrapped our 9th Chicago wedding season, and it's been a whirlwind of all things real and fabulous!

My hands-off, documentary approach allows couples to feel totally comfortable in front of the camera (it's the number one thing mentioned in my Reviews!). Expect a mix of candid moments and contemporary portraiture while still being able to enjoy time with your guests. Emma was so incredible to work with for our engagement photo shoot! We were somewhat nervous at the beginning, but she made us feel at ease right away. It quickly became a super fun experience for my partner and I! Emma made us feel at our best and it was so fantastic getting to know her during our shoot. We are overjoyed with the photos she has shared so far and can't wait to see more! I highly recommend Emma Mullins Photography to anyone looking for high quality, engaging, artistic, and fun photos. We LOVED working with Emma and Jeremy for our wedding. Emma was incredibly thoughtful from the planning of our engagement shoot all the way through to our the wedding day. Our wedding had many moving pieces and a large family that required coordination and a precise timeline to capture all of our photos. At one point, our bus was stuck in traffic on Michigan Avenue and we had to get out and run to the Wrigley building to take all of our photos. Instead of that being a stressful moment, it turned into one of the more fun and unique moments of our wedding which was due in large part to the photography team being flexible with the quick change of plans. We are so thankful for Emma and Jeremy's positive attitude and we are in love with all of the pictures we have from our wedding.

We are so glad that we booked Emma Mullins Photography for our engagement photos and wedding - Emma is phenomenal! Our package included an engagement shoot, a second photographer, and a wedding album. We did our engagement shoot in Lincoln Park (where we got engaged). If you’re introverted like we are, rest assured that Emma will put you and your partner at ease and take stunning, creative shots. We saw several other couples also doing engagement shoots, and compared to other photographers, Emma was lively and made the experience fun. It was important that we felt comfortable with the person capturing intimate moments on a meaningful day, and Emma was absolutely the right person for the job. To prepare for our wedding day, Emma asked thoughtful questions and helped us create a list of shots and special details to capture. She did a wonderful job capturing every special moment of the ceremony and the reception, and the second photographer, Alexis, matched her energy and style. When we reviewed the photos afterward, we were delighted with how they turned out. Our album is a wonderful keepsake. We will cherish the photos of my husband and I, our bridal party, and family and friends. We cannot recommend Emma enough!

Most couples book us 12-18 months before their wedding day. However, there are always exceptions! If you're getting married outside of that time frame, please don't hesitate to get in touch :)

Yes! I will often have an assistant with me on wedding days. If your coverage includes a second photographer, then at least two of us will be present during that time. Our team also includes a handful of talented Associate Photographers!

YES. Post-processing requires much time and attention. Each image in your gallery will be edited to artistic standards consistent with what you see on our web site.

Yes! We offer a variety of videography options. Inquire to learn more!

This depends on many factors, including hours of coverage, number of photographers, and when your wedding falls during the season. Your gallery will be delivered no later than 12 weeks from your wedding date. Often I deliver sooner than expected. Keep an eye on Facebook and Instagram for sneak peeks after your wedding!

Typically we deliver around 75 images per hour for both weddings and engagement sessions. Weddings with two photographers yield approximately 100 images per hour.

Yes! Happy to provide a certificate of insurance if required by your venue.

This is a great question! I will do everything in my power to photograph your wedding, but in an absolute worst case scenario where I cannot be there, rest assured that someone will be. Our Associate Photographers are fully trained in my style and ready to step in if needed. We belong to a strong network of photographers who are incredible (seriously - the best) about helping each other out in situations like this. I've been there in a pinch for others, and they'd do the same for me.
