We're getting married!

And the rest is history! Mary Beth was new to town starting her OB/GYN residency at UT Medical Center. Her fellow residents convinced her to sign up for a dating app (Hinge) and she reluctantly obliged. Josh was a local engineer looking for someone to spend the rest of his life with so he could delete the dating app! They saw each other's profiles and liked each other. Josh opened the conversation complimenting her golden retriever, Charley. Mary Beth loves Charley more than anything, so she decided to give Josh a shot. They decided to meet at Schulz Brau (German biergarten) for their first date. The date went well, so they decided to have another just a few days later. By the end of August, they were "officially" boyfriend and girlfriend. Fast forward after countless more dates and adventures, they are in Charleston with Mary Beth's family. Josh has the engagement ring with him, and proposes to Mary Beth at Longitude Lane in the downtown area. Mary Beth said yes, and here we are! We are incredibly excited for this commitment to each other, and we cannot wait to share this day with you! Love, MB & J
