About Lovebug Pictures

I’m a documentary aficionado turned wedding filmmaker based out of Portland, Oregon. When I’m not filming weddings, you can find me hanging out with my dog, Werner Herzdog (seen in the photo), having happy hour with friends or scheming my next video endeavor. I have filmed everything under the sun including a Netflix Original Documentary series to a musical narrative with the singer, Storm Large. But no matter what, I approach each project with the same gusto, excitement and curiosity. I can’t wait to meet you and learn more about your story!

    We had an amazing experience working with Lauren! She made us feel very comfortable, the shoots were so much fun, and the end result was perfect. We cannot stop watching the video and everyone we shared it with has loved it too! Highly recommend adding The Weekender option to the package. We were so happy having that footage in our wedding video.

    We were originally uncertain about having a videgrapher for our wedding. The costs were daunting, the styles we had seen didn't seem to match our personalities, and we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of things we needed to plan for. It was the thought of having video of our oldest and youngest family memebers that kept bringing us back thinking we should do this, and then the clouds parted and we found Lauren with Lovebug Pictures. Her style is a dream come true, her amazing talent shines in every interaction, every film clip and the final masterpieces she creates. While her documentary style resonated with us, she also made everything so US. The videos authentically showcase our wedding and relationship in the most pure way, while also making us look really cool. If you're reading this: *this is your sign*. Having wedding photos is fantastic but the day is a whirlwind and having these special videos is something you'll be grateful for.. forever.

    Lauren from Lovebug Pictures is the best of the best. She captured our wedding in the most special way possible. While filming us, Lauren made us feel comfortable, excited and beautiful. Her cool, calm and collected demeanor is exactly what every bride wants (needs) on their wedding day. I couldn't recommend Lauren enough, she is amazing!!!
