About this venue
The barn has been built from the ground up by Craig Carpenter, his brother Timmy Carpenter and other family and friends. Many of the trees use to build the barn were harvested from their property and were prepared at their saw mill on site. The idea for a wedding venue began was a dream of their daughter, now Zimmerwald's Estate manager Katie Carpenter White. What began as a simple dream and a sketch on a piece of notebook paper, has now become a reality. We are extremely excited to be a place where beautiful family memories can be made and couples can begin their happily ever after!

Yes, you can. We allow our couple to bring their own. You must obtain an alcohol permit.
Yes, plenty of parking for even our large weddings
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Our couples get all day Friday to set up and to have their rehearsal and diner, Saturday for their event and until 2 pm on Sunday to clean up.
Booking fees for our facilities are non-refundable after 2 weeks, and all payments made towards the wedding are non-refundable if the couple cancels.
All couples are required to get day of wedding insurance. It provides you with protection if someone is injured at your wedding or one of your guests causes property damage to the venue. Some even cover things like lost wedding rings, wedding gifts, etc.

We are located approx. 1 hour from the nearest airport. Guest flying in would need to get a rental car to reach the venue
