About this venue

In 1929, Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, started construction on the dairy barn on his property in Valdese, NC. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. He cleared a field for a vineyard and until his death in 1972 (at the age of 92), he made wine in the basement of the main house every autumn.

The Big Building

Warm and Cozzy

108 with tables and chairs, 232 with chairs only. The big white tables (12) in Le Grand Bâtiment, all take 108" round tablecloths. There is a covered patio for additional seating when the weather permits.

    We had our wedding here on 1/14/23! Pierre is great! He helped us from start to finish with making sure we had everything ready to go for our big day! From the tour to the day of our event he was easy to reach and very helpful! The buildings themselves were amazing! We had everything we needed and more! It was beautiful with all the building amenities! I would recommend to anyone for any event needs
