About this venue
The Horticulture Center, located in Philadelphia’s beautiful Fairmount Park, includes a modern exhibition hall and greenhouse on stunning historic grounds. The Center was built in 1979 and sits on the site of the former Horticultural Hall, an 1876 Centennial Exposition building. Boasting both intimate indoor and large-scale outdoor gathering spaces, the Horticulture Center is the ideal setting for unique private celebrations, exceptional weddings, and memorable corporate events.

Simply Stunning
Our venue at the Fairmount Park Horticultural Center was absolutely stunning! From the moment we walked in to tour for the first time, til the time we left our reception every step of working with them was amazing. The setting was not only beautiful but the staff made us feel so welcomed. We couldn't have imagined a better place to commemorate our love. Special shoutout to Olivia and Nikki who made the experience making plans and building the menu so fun and easy! Great team 10/10 would recommend!
Gorgeous affordable venue!
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at the Horticulture Center in late June 2023 and it was such a magical experience. There are so many beautiful spaces to get married inside or outside and Bahiya will guide you every step of the way. She was so thoughtful, easy to work with, and answered our many, MANY questions. It’s important to note though that while Bahiya manages weddings at the Horticulture Center, she is not a day-off coordinator/wedding planner. Bahiya will make sure the spaces you need are open and ready for you, but you are responsible for set-up and clean-up of the chairs for the ceremony. We brought our own mic, speakers, and had the groomsman help with chairs. The Dixon room in the back was great for people to change before the wedding. The Horticulture Center is incredibly affordable for a ceremony. Highly recommend!
