We are an elegant, rustic wedding venue and just opened in May of 2019! Our capacity is up to 350 with the use of our gorgeous patio! The Event on Sunnybrook is a premier Wedding reception hall located in Brimfield & Kent, OH. You can go simple at our venue, but when you go elegant and extravagant there really are no words! You're left absolutely speechless!!! We do not host weddings on Sundays!

    We had our DREAM wedding at The Event on Sunnybrook!!!! Hope and Holly were amazing to work with and were so organized! They helped make the wedding planning process so stress-free. I never worried about things being handled and flowing smoothly. There were also so many beautiful places to take pictures!! It was the perfect day!! My family loved it so much that my sister is getting married there next year now! I highly recommend, it was truly perfect in every way!!!!! 3

    Sunny Brook is one of the best event venues in North East Ohio. Very large and spacious with the perfect decor for any type of event possible. The staff is by far one of the most professional and kindest group in the business. It is always a pleasure to work with Hope and her staff at any time.

    We loved the Event on Sunnybrook for our summer wedding last year! They had ample space for our party of guests that was accompanied by modern rustic decor and beautiful views. The staff was very professional throughout our entire experience. Hope was very easy to work and kept in constant communication with me via email and Zoom calls which was a huge blessing when residing on the West Coast and planning a wedding two thousand miles away. I gave quality of goods and services only four stars because they did not have toasting champagne available as part of any of their main bar packages without purchasing it separately from their vendor by the bottle or glass which ended up being costly. This is a staple at many weddings and should be readily available. They also did not have champagne glasses to serve it in or toast with so I had to purchase plastic ones separately. They did not have the ability to clean glass ones for me at the end of the night which was why I had to choose plastic reluctantly. Any specialty drinks "bride or groom's choice" also had to be purchased separately as well but this was a little more understandable considering the vast array of options out there. Lastly, while many of the culinary dishes were delicious, some of the main courses were overcooked and cold on the day of my wedding and I thought this was frustrating considering the price point of this venue. Other than these few things, we would recommend The Event on Sunnybrook to others looking to have a beautiful classy rustic wedding! Overall, we loved our day and had a really good experience with this venue!
