About this venue

Tucked away on a hundred-acre stretch of land, one mile outside Elkin city limits, Klondike Cabins offers a secluded escape. Original wood beams and early American antiques welcome guests to experience life a little simpler. Surrounded by 60-acres of vineyards, a 2-acre fishing pond, and a walking trail winding alongside the Grassy Creek, days can be filled with discovering what the Appalachian nature has to offer, or cozied up with a book or game of chess next to a roaring fire in the original 1920’s hearths.

Overlooking our beautiful Lake, this dreamy outdoor event space is the idealistic location for any celebration.

Surrounded by tall trees and stunning views, this spacious outdoor area sits in the open field between the Cabins, offering a beautiful overlook of both Grassy Creek Winery and our lake. The perfect spot for a white marquee, banquet tables, and gorgeous flowers! What we love most about this space is its versatility, and seeing how each couple transforms it with their own unique style.

The Dining Room

Our spacious dining room, complete with a catering kitchen is the ideal setting for intimate gatherings, from rehearsal dinners to small celebrations.

This versatile space features four large round wooden tables with lazy susans, seating 10 guests each. With easy outdoor access, it’s perfect for seamless indoor/outdoor events. A fully equipped kitchen, located right next to the dining room, is available for you or your caterer to make hosting simple and stress-free.

The Main Cabin

The Main Log Cabin Suite at Klondike Cabins is located in the heart of the Yadkin Valley Wine Region. This authentic log cottage is filled with early American antiques, historic artwork, decoys, and trophies. The cabin features 4 bedrooms with 4 queen-sized beds and 2 full baths. The cabin features a large living area with piano, sofa, chairs, TV, fireplace, game table, dining table, kitchenette, and views overlooking the lake and adjoins Grassy Creek Vineyard and Winery.

The Hanes Cabin

The Hanes Cottage at Klondike Cabins is tucked away between The Main Cabin and the lake. This two-suite authentic log cottage is filled with early American antiques, historic artwork, decoys, and trophies. The cottage features 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds in each, 2 full private baths, and private entrances. The cabin features a large private sitting area with a sofa, chairs, TVs, fireplaces, a shared kitchenette, and views overlooking the lake and adjoins Grassy Creek Vineyard and Winery.

The Playhouse

The Playhouse at Klondike Cabins is nestled down a boxwood path between The Main Cabin and Grassy Creek Vineyard and Winery Tasting Room. This 2-suite authentic log cottage is filled with early American antiques, historic artwork, decoys, and trophies. The cottage features two bedrooms with one queen-sized bed, one full-sized bed, two full private baths, and private entrances. The cabin features a large sitting area with a sofa, chairs, TV, fireplace, kitchenette, and patio overlooking the Grassy Creek Vineyard and Winery red barn tasting room.

The Gameroom

The Gameroom at Klondike Cabins is the perfect added amenity for any occasion. Complete with pool table, card table, DirectTV, stereo, bar, and bathroom it keeps everyone entertained. Walls adorned with family heirlooms and lined with original horsehair chinking offers a warm and intimate place for fun and festivity.
