Lindsay has been in the events industry for years and has overseen hundreds of successful events. Her attention to detail and ability to handle any situation that arises with grace and ease allows her couples to relax and enjoy their wedding day. Lindsay not only plans weddings for our Simply Elegant couples but also trains our entire team of planners to ensure that every Simply Elegant wedding is flawless and our client's vision is fulfilled.

We help you celebrate that love in a stress-free and present way (and we’ll even save you some money along the way.) Our mission is to help you celebrate your love in a way that you love and with stress and overwhelm. After more than fifteen years in the business, and 4,500+ weddings under our collective belt, we have become the go-to wedding planning team for couples looking for a stress-free planning experience + joyful wedding day. Think of us as advocates for your wedding vision (who happen to be the highest-level experts) who will never leave your side.

Description

If you want an expert by your side every step of the process, choose this option. From the moment you sign with us until your marriage license is in the mail, we’ll be by your side to collaborate, make decisions, and see to it that your plans are executed perfectly down to the very last detail.

With this package, we work alongside you to best support you through the planning process. This package also includes a budget meeting, two timeline meetings, and support with the design of your wedding. In addition, we join you on your wedding day to support you for 10 hours to be certain the plans we made together go off without a hitch!

60 days before your wedding day, we are there to walk through the details and your venue with you. We will work with you to determine your timeline-- assuring that every detail is carefully aligned for your special day. On the day of your wedding, two planners will be there to support you for 10 hours so that you can relax and be present to enjoy the moment!

    Neither my husband nor I had been in a wedding, so we had no idea what we were doing when we began planning. We hired SEG for full-service planning, and we were so impressed by the time and resources made available to us. Our planner, Hanh, was so organized and attentive throughout the process. She was able to provide us with so many ideas to make our vision come true, and she knew to ask the vendors questions we never would have even thought of. She even went above and beyond on the day of, in ways such as helping bustle my dress which my mom and I couldn't figure out. The wedding workbook, especially the checklist organized by time out from the wedding, was so helpful in giving us a visual representation of everything we needed to do. Overall, hiring SEG full-service was well worth the money, and we highly recommend them for anyone who doesn't have the time or experience to plan their wedding themselves!

    Lindsay Mackey was my planner for my wedding, and I cannot recommend her enough. I felt so at ease knowing that the night was in her hands and didn’t worry ONCE about the timeline. As someone who is incredibly Type A, all I wanted was to be able to enjoy my wedding day without becoming my own wedding planner, and Lindsay was so on top of it, super communicative, and handled all my vendors so I didn’t have to. Not only was she super professional throughout the process, I also felt like she was my friend and wanted the best for me. Thank you to Lindsay and The Simply Elegant Group for making my wedding day a dream come true!

    So organized, helpful and communicative. Their resources are so helpful for all stages of planning and they are able to help get discounts from vendors. Our planner was Brenda and not only was she a wedding genius but she was such a great presence to have around on the wedding day. Even my family can’t stop talking about how great she was!

    Our coordinator, Hanh, was absolutely marvelous! She was attentive, fun, and made us feel so taken care of. We used SEG for their day-of coordinator services, but Hanh made it feel like so much more. I would highly recommend her! The deducted star was due to some communication difficulties we had with SEG (not Hanh!). We had a coordinator originally assigned to us, but when one of our vendors couldn't get a hold of our original coordinator, we reached out to SEG and found out that coordinator was no longer with SEG. I wish SEG had been proactive in letting us know when our coordinator left; even though we only had day-of services, our vendors still needed our contact from SEG in the months before the wedding.
