I started in the wedding industry when I found bridal world in 2018. Building a career in bridal brought me back to Los Angeles from Seattle, back to family and into a world where I could immerse myself in all things bridal and weddings. I worked my way up as a stylist to the couture level, managing one of the flagship stores in LA and specializing in custom, one of a kind designs as a stylist. I learned more and more about weddings, and one day started day-of coordinating for friends and family. That grew to a passion and led to the birth of Serenity Weddings.

What makes Serenity Weddings unique is that my experience as a stylist lets me see your wedding as a design, and I can help you bring every detail to life. My skillset in organizing and executing makes me an excellent coordinator, ready to adapt as needed to create the perfect day. Serenity Weddings doesn't just offer coordinating and planning services, I also offer styling services. I help you to create your perfect wedding day look in whatever way you need.

Description

My partial planning services are designed and tailored for each specific couple and their unique needs. Wedding planning requires a lot of different strengths, and most couples find that at least one area of wedding planning just isn't their thing, if not more. That's where we come in. We run the relay race with you, helping you in the areas that you need it, saving you money on a full planning service.

Day-Of Coordination was designed for the couples who want to make sure that they get to fully enjoy the day of their wedding, rather than worry about running it. It includes a venue walk-through and a final meeting the week of the wedding to go over final details. We provide vendor management, ready to direct and assist them, and problem solve if anything arises. We assist with timeline management throughout the night and oversee cleanup.

    We are so glad we hired Desiree to be our day of coordinator! She made sure everything went smoothly, handled timeline changes, and truly made the entire process to seamless and enjoyable. I can confidently say that our wedding went off without a hitch and we had the best day possible. Desiree even made sure we had hundreds (maybe thousands) of incredble moments captured on my phone at the end of the night. We loved looking through all of the amazing photos so we could re live the best day ever!! Highly recommend serenity weddings.

    Working with Desiree at Serenity Weddings is such a breeze! She's worked with us for a few of her clients, some shopping for gowns and others who are just looking for the perfect accessory to match their gowns. Her easy-going and empathetic attitude make her brides feel so comfortable, and her love for being sustainable is a great match for our consignment boutique. She has an eye for bridal style and is able to fine tune a look and imagine different possibilities to really make sure you feel your absolute best on your wedding day!

    We hired Serenity Weddings for our wedding last year, and it was the best decision we made for the day. We opted for the month-of package. We knew that we wanted to design our wedding ourselves to make it unique to our love story, but that we didn't have time the month of the wedding to add all of the last minute coordinating between the vendors to our workload. Desiree met with us mid-planning process to do a walk-through of the venue and get an idea of what we had planned for our day. She gave tons of helpful tips and truly made sure that she understood our vision. The month of the wedding she coordinated between all the vendors to make sure that everything was covered. Thank goodness! Turns out we forgot to order bathrooms since we were at a house, even though we didn't want people going into the home. She saved the day and made sure that we got an extra generator from the rental company to supply the power. On the day of the wedding she arrived ahead of the first vendor and made sure that everything was perfect. And if it wasn't, we never knew! All of our family and friends got to enjoy our wedding with us, without having to worry about how everything was going, all thanks to Serenity Weddings. I also worked with Desiree for my bridal styling, choosing the Final Touches package. Finding my dress was easy, but the endless choices for everything else was daunting. She helped me choose the perfect hairstyle and makeup combo for my enchanted look, and the accessories she chose were just the right touch.
