With years of experience in the wedding industry, including as a wedding coordinator at a NorCal winery, I bring expertise and attention to detail to your special event. I thrive under pressure and prioritize exceptional customer service for the venue, vendors, and most importantly, you as the couple.     I reached out to so many planners/coordinators for my wedding and so many were either slow to respond or did not respond at all. Chelsea was prompt and excited to help, despite my wedding being quite the undertaking. I did my own (faux) flowers, which meant on top of regular day-of duties, she was putting up full floral arrangements, lighting hundreds of candles, and putting together tons of other small details and finishing touches. I can't emphasize this enough - our day would not have come together in the way that it did without her. She was on top of everything and truly made my vision come to life. She was helpful in dealing with other vendors as well, and did everything with a smile on her face. When I came to her days before my wedding with a crazy new surprise, she was down to help. My husband agrees that Chelsea was worth her weight in gold - I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Chelsea for everything you did to make our wedding day go so smoothly.

    Chelsea planned a rehearsal dinner for us. She helped us find a private dining space in the middle of downtown Chicago, helped us pick out menu options, was the point of contact for our family to reach out to on the day of, and helped us assemble gift bags for our families and friends. She really made herself available, and was really quick to reply back to us with any suggestions. Really happy we hired Finishing Touch Events and definitely would recommend this small business!!

    Chelsea from Finishing Touch Events was our wedding coordinator for our wedding in March '24 in the West Loop. She helped us throughout the whole wedding planning process with our timeline, rehearsal, and then the day of. She was flexible and accommodating up until our wedding day and then was so wonderful the day of. Her personality is calm, relaxed, and kind. 10/10. Thanks, Chelsea!

    Chelsea helped me plan and throw a Morocco-themed graduation party with 75 attendees, and I honestly don’t think I could have done it without her. I am really good at having ideas, but less good at execution as I get overwhelmed. Chelsea helped me find a location and vendors, as well as designing the decorations. Chelsea was chill and friendly while still executing to perfection. 10/10 would hire again!
