Proud to call Lakewood home. We love traveling our beautiful state capturing the most important moments in couple's lives! Our lead team consists of Beau and Luke (photographers) and Reese (videography.) We approach weddings in a photojournalistic style with a focus on candid/genuine moments. Of course, we want stunning portraits of the couple, wedding party, family, and friends, but also capture the joy and emotion in real moments throughout the day. I hope we can schedule consultation to see if we would be a good fit. Equality minded, we love all couples!

We come from the commercial photography world and apply those technical aspects to our photojournalistic style. We take pride in planning each wedding alongside our couples to make sure we capture all of the important details. This allows our couples to be in the moment and enjoy their day. After all, you having fun at the wedding is the most important thing! All weddings include a venue scout with you to go over final details before the wedding. We value an unobtrusive style at the wedding while still capturing the important moments.

    Beau and Reese were amazing from beginning to end. Beau was extremely responsive and available to us. He was involved in the whole process of planning from building a timeline to giving recommendations for other vendors. On wedding day both Beau and Reese braved brisk wind to give us the most beautiful winter wedding photos and videos imaginable. They allowed us and the guests to enjoy the day and capture the candid joy of the moment. I am so happy that we found Blue Spruce to capture our wedding day so perfectly and am thrilled to recommend Beau and Reese to everyone for a stress-free and beautifully remembered event.

    Beau was phenomenal to work with. We met him as a recommendation from our venue. Upon our first meeting, we were so impressed. He had the exact look we were going for. Beau did our engagement photos and our wedding day. Not to mention, he was very patient with our dogs during these times! He even did an additional shoot when we added a new pup to the family. He caught so many candid moments and helped my husband be comfortable in front of the camera and get so many genuine moments and smiles between us. From start to finish, Beau was patient and understanding. He really listened to what we wanted, such as so many memorable photos with my grandmother. Him and his assistant were great, and we can't recommend him enough.

    I had the pleasure of having Beau be our photographer for our wedding in August! He was absolutely phenomenal! He got all the shots we asked for and we have beautiful photos to cherish forever! He also sent us a USB drive with a consent letter so we have full access to our photos forever!

    Beau Blackburn's photographers at Blue Spruce Photographer beautifully captured every aspect of our wedding in a way that was authentically us without being underfoot and invasive. They took beautifully composed photos of not only ourselves and our families and guests but the venue, the flowers, and the food so that our unforgettable moments have added color and background. Working with our photographer, Luke, began with our engagement photos, and we got to build a relationship through that process so that he could see who we are and we could get comfortable working with him. We worked together to create great shots with him taking our suggestions and us seeing the wisdom of his experience. Now my husband and I, who are not the center of attention people, have fantastic photos of our special day that we are thrilled to share with family and friends.
