It’s me! Mckenzie, owner/CEO/graphics/marketing/lead shooter/future BFF/total goofball! I’ve been playing with a camera since I was 16 making my friends model and pose for their MySpace profile pics. I think it’s fair to say I’ve only grown as an artist since then. I graduated with a bachelor's in Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography from the University of Colorado. I’ve been in the wedding game for three years now specializing in lifestyle photography, capturing those raw emotions and sneaky candid shots.

I'm an Alaskan transplant living in the great state of Washington. When I'm not behind a camera you can find me in the mountains playing with my pup, attempting new DIYs, or chasing salmon up the rivers. I strive to make every session with my clients to be one of a kind. Whether we’re hiking up a mountain to beat the sunset, or running from the rain on the coast. I want to tell your love story!     Working with McKenzie was amazing - she not only takes stunning photos, but is organized, communicative, and most of all SO MUCH FUN! Always down for an adventure, McKenzie braved the elements and took our engagement photos up in the snowy Cascades a few years ago. We had such a good time and they turned out beautiful. (We still have family friends asking if it was part of an L.L. Bean ad - ha!) Fast forward to 2020 - the pandemic cancelled our wedding plans so we decided to have our dream elopement instead. On short notice, we asked McKenzie if she could be there to photograph the occasion out in Olympic National Park. She took the ferry out to join us, with just our dog, our best man, and an officiant. It was honestly perfect. I cannot imagine it any other way. At such a small event, it meant a lot to us to have a photographer whose personality and vibe added to the day and jived so well with us. We were so comfortable and in the moment. And the PHOTOS - oh my gosh. They are positively amazing and we will treasure them forever.
