Deanna Loveland is a harpist, pianist, singer/songwriter and Mrs. Tennessee International. Originally from the eastern shore of Maryland, Deanna studied piano at the age of 5 and began learning the harp when she was 11. While she didn’t pursue a music degree, she took courses at the International Academy of Music in Indiana and kept a busy schedule of 130 performances each year at the age of 16. She began songwriting at an early age and in 2005, she was 1st runner-up out of 12,000 entries in USA Weekend Magazine’s national songwriting competition judged by Simon Cowell and Fantasia Barrino. After moving to Nashville in 2008, she signed with a talent agency and appeared in music videos and commercials as a model/actress. She has appeared in commercials for Toyota and Target; music videos for artists including Ruben Studdard, Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban; and film roles including, “A Pure Country Gift II” and “Country Strong”.
