My family recently moved from Portland, Oregon to Columbia, South Carolina. I am new to the area, but not new to weddings. I have had the absolute joy to be coordinating weddings full-time in the PNW for the last 4 years and non-profit and theatrical events for the last 10 yrs. In the off-season, my husband and I (along with our two small boys) are working on building a house and a home on some land in Kershaw County with the hopes of someday opening my very own wedding venue in the area, I am so excited to bring my experience and passion to our new home.
Not only am I working a full season of weddings for myself but I also work for other larger coordinators in the area to keep learning and broadening my events. I have a true love for the job and that shines threw every interaction.

The Best Coordinator for the Best Day!
Working with Kara was wonderful! From the first phone call we had with her, we knew she was the right choice for us as a wedding coordinator. She was kind, caring, organized, and thorough, and we could just tell she knew what she was doing. We always enjoyed our meetings with Kara! She is so sweet and personable. She makes what can be a stressful time and process easier. She is truly here for you, easy to talk with, and a great communicator. She's even great about kindly following up if you're not the best about responding to emails (which I can be guilty of at times). She saw our vision and championed it! She helped my décor vision come together day of and helped my detail oriented/planner fiancé and I know everything was taken care of. One of the good reasons to hire a coordinator is because they have expertise and experience in wedding planning when you likely don't. Kara made sure details we never would have thought of came into place, and kindly offered her advise and expertise whenever we asked! Kara was so wonderful to work with, and our wedding day couldn't have been amazing without her! You won't regret choosing Kara as your wedding coordinator! We hired Kara as our Day of Coordinator, and she truly went above and beyond! Her expertise was evident throughout the process; she was quick to answer any questions and took the time to meet with us via video call on multiple occasions before the big day. Our wedding day ran seamlessly thanks to her efforts! Kara was instrumental in ensuring everything proceeded without a hitch, keeping us on schedule, making certain we had something to eat, and verifying that all the decorations were arranged according to our vision.
