They met through Nick's best friend DJ, who was working with Grace. DJ would always mention to Grace that she reminded him of Nick because of the similar advice they gave him and how much they seemed to have in common. They began hanging out and texting one another, learning more about the things they had in common. They realized quickly that they really liked one another. Nick asked Grace to be his girlfriend while hanging out after work in his car and listening to their favorite song from Motion City Soundtrack: My Favorite Accident.

Nick proposed to Grace in front of close friends and family at a surpise dinner he planned at DB Grill in Kapolei. Ten years of love and growth have finally led to their engagement and soon, you'll get to share in their next step as they finally tie the knot!
